Default aa vs opp who very likely has kk on k high flop

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

CO ($55.42)
Button ($28.75)
SB ($27.15)
BB ($45.15)
UTG ($25.10)
UTG+1 ($25)
UTG+2 ($12.35)
Hero ($19.30)
MP2 ($31.10)
MP3 ($22.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10. UTG+1 posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 (poster) checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 raises to $0.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB (poster) raises to $4.9</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, Hero calls $3.50.

Flop: ($11.25) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($11.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $15</font>, Hero calls $14.30 (All-In).

River: ($40.55) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $40.55

when opponent re-raised me i put him on aces or kings with maybe some remote chance of queens. i didn't pop him back because i figured it would be so obvious what i have that kings might be able to get away from the hand. of course following my logic i have a real problem when the flop comes king high, and as soon as he checked i was *positive* he had floped the set on me.

so i guess my main two questions are: was not pushing preflop a mistake? and can i get away from the hand on the turn?

You have to either push preflop or push the flop. Once you have an $11.25 pot preflop with $14.30 left and AA you have to shove any flop.

such analysis and fancy play at 25NL with 100BB's behind is doing nothing but costing you money. push preflop.

At party 25, I'd just shove em in. It will be called by KK and much much worse by many opponents even good ones. In this hand it's not like you guys are very deep, no way most opponents lay down KK unless they are the nittiest of nits.

push pre-flop at this level 100% of the time youll see AA-99 call all the time and once u have half your chips in preflop u must push the flop 100% of the time. if u check the turn and he open pushes i think u can put him on the hand but i probably call getting these odds know sometimes youll see AK/KQ but not 3 betting the preflop nuts is leaving a lot of money on the table at pp25nl

alright thanks everyone. i'm sorry for asking such an obvious question. i guess i just forgot how this game plays since i've been gone. opponent had kk and probably would have called preflop.
