Default Moving on up (on line).

I've been doing well for some time now at $2-4 at Pokerroom. Above this limit, game selection or even finding a game is problematic. I've heard good things about both Paradise and Party. Which sites offers good game selection/soft games at $3-6?

Also, how handicapped will I be if I don't use hand history software at this limit? Thanks in advance.

I think Party is still the place to be for lots of crazy 3/6 action, although Paradise 2/4 has been pretty soft recently (maybe all the 2+2ers went to party )

I don't think not using Pokerstat or pokertracker is going to significanly "handicap" you at that level. Its helpful for identifying a few leaks in your game (play too many hands from the blinds, need to stop playing ATo from EP, or whatever) and certainly is great for helping to keep track of your opponents' tendancies, but an observant player who takes good notes will do better than someone who has the software but doesn't really take advantage of all the info.

As I type, Pokerroom has no ten handed games going above $1-2, so it's definitely time to move on. When you say crazy $3-6 action, are you talking about aggressive/very aggressive games? I prefer the more passive variety where the % that see the flop is 30 and above but the average pot size is 7-8 big bets.

PS: I'd only play ATo on the Bu and sb. (smile)
