Saying that this is AA 99/100 times is an absurd exaggeration.

I think its a real hard lay down, but a good one. Here's why. If you call the all in you still have two live players after you, one who reraised who may go. Heads up kings are great, but against 3 people I'm not so crazy about em. Second, even if you know the all in guy doesn't have a quality hand, you can't be sure with the other two caller and bad position. If you had position and its folded to you than easy call, out of position definetly fold. And I've seen pros make this lay down, although they aren't the super agressive ones. Side note, what if you called, he has ace king an ace flops and your crippled and out. Long story short. By folding there you got better opurtunities to win the tournament. No regrets IMO

So if he showed you AK, how long would it take you to call?

I hate to say it, but my read is aces. Come on this guy sees a raise, a rerasie in front of em. He has to be expecting a call. If I had AA and saw a raise and a re-raise in front of me, I'm going all in to narrow the field. I bet he had them. I'm sure as hell not thinking two queens are good after a raise a reraise and a live player left to act after me in that spot.

My point was even if you assumed he had ace king, your not sure what the two other players might have and call, and in abad position fold. In a better postion pre flop WITHOUT the live callers automatic Call, if you assume its ace/king, but with all that action beofore his all in I think he's holding rockets. If that is your gut feeling then what do you do?

Ohh thats so so bad, you cant be a winning player and think like that.

To the original poster..

Answer these Questions.

Why did you raise to 2500?

If he had AA , would this guy try to blow you off the hand or do a mini RR?

I think the way you have described him AA is the least likely hand. I would put himm on something like 1010-QQ or AK AQ all which he is scared to play post flop oop to a RR.
