Okay, I'll contribute something -

Zero is just a symbol for an empty set. "Nothing" is not "something" that we can talk about or assign characteristics too. Any psychological conceptualization of "nothing" is senseless.

DARK HELMET: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie?
SANDURZ: Now, you're looking at now, sir. Everything that's happening now is happening now. points to screen
DARK HELMET: What happened to then?
SANDURZ: We missed it.
DARK HELMET: When?
SANDURZ: Just now. You're at now now.
DARK HELMET: Go back to then.
SANDURZ: We can't.
DARK HELMET: Why not?
SANDURZ: We missed it.
DARK HELMET: When?
SANDURZ: Just now.
DARK HELMET: When will then be now?
SANDURZ: Soon.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely products of a deranged imagination.

No it is not known. In fact it is more likely that a finite amount of worlds exist.

Again, according to who?

In "The Wheels of If", in 1940, De Camp said, "The number of worlds is infinite, or almost".
Aristotle’s idea was that we can never conceive of the natural numbers as a whole. However they are potentially infinite in the sense that given any finite collection we can always find a larger finite collection
Either way don't shoot the piano player, it was only a saying...
