\"Lucky You\" the movie...
Just to fill anyone in who hasn't heard or doesn't know the details, this movie is set to come out in December, I believe. It's starring Eric Bana (Incredible Hulk, Chopper) and Robert Duvall (umm... Godfather ring a bell?), and it's directed by Curtis Hanson (8 Mile, Wonder Boys, LA Confidential, Hand That Rocks the Cradle). Bana plays Huck Cheever, a a WSOP (or similar) hopeful. I believe it tracks his experience through the real or fabricated championship. Hopefully this will be a departure from the piss poor quality of poker-related cinema and televison of late (excluding Rounders, of course...) Sounds like it has serious potential...

****Spoilers**** It will suck [/ QUOTE ] I doubt it. He's a great director and the cast is really good. Eric Bana (granted you'll forgive him for the Hulk) is a really good actor. So is Robert Duvall. |

Re: \"Lucky You\" the movie...
I NEVER thought I would have enjoyed an Eminem movie, but 8 Mile was very good and Hanson got a great performance out of him. I'll check it out.

Bana is an awesome actor. If you haven't yet seen Chopper, I highly recommend it. Awesome movie.
