You can play like a rock and let the loose players have a ball while you take their money

I remeber those games fondly. I took my free $10 and ran it up on the .25/.5 5cs (no ante) and .5/1.0 7cs no ante. I didn't stay there long (either because I ran really well over the limited table hours I put in, or the games were just that soft, or both) but I remember the opposition being incredibly bad (and I have never gotten in that much stud, so it's not like it is a strong game for me.)

There is no need to steal ante's in that game (unless it has changed, which would surprise me). People will come along and pay off with crap, they just don't seem to understand that with no ante you need to play third street a lot tighter. (I mean come on, folding is no fun, is it??)

Also, I seem to remember no rake on most hands because the pot never got big enough. Good times!

Sorry I forgot to mention that this is pot limit stud, if that affects your decision.

Oh, all my comments were for the limit stud game. I played pot limit only a couple of times, and have no feel whatever for that game. (That's a pretty damn big thing to leave out )
