Re: Ruling?
Just read about this in 'Big Deal' by Anthony Holden.
He had the low str8 gets the guy all in on the turn the river make the villians high str8. After seeing the opponents hand Villian mucks face up and leaves the table. He gets called back and awarded the pot. If your saying the guy mucked face down how does anyone know he had the high str8? Dealer would have already pushed the pot. Crap question hand is mucked u answered urself there. Tough s##t.. word is binding and all that... |

Re: Ruling?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] If his hand wasn't in the muck and the dealer hadn't awarded the pot yet, doesnt that mean his hand isn't dead? (I don't actually know, I'm asking to clarify) And why didn't the dealer muck his hand once he made the action of the mucking toss? [/ QUOTE ] This occurred in a short-handed home game in which neither Player A or B was dealing. Player B tossed his cards moments before Player A showed his hand. The dealer did not yet have a chance to pull Player B's hand in to the muck. [/ QUOTE ] technicly, once your hand enters the playing field, it can be declared dead, particularly if it entered there through a "mucking"-like motion. peace john nickle |
