D.C. 2+2 event?
After thinking about all the responses D.C. poker has gotten, I started thinking about everyone getting together sometime for a game. Either trekking north to A.C. or getting together somewhere local... Could be a fun night. Any thoughts? There have been enough responses that if someone wanted to host a game full of 2+2ers (I ask myself right now what I'm getting into...) it would probably work..
Thoughts? El Sapo |

Re: D.C. 2+2 event?
Sounds like fun. They have 2+2 get togethers in California and LV, we should have one in the DC area.
On a different note: I am being transfered to extreme western Maryland in about 3 months. Does anyone know of any poker (legal or otherwise) in the Maryland panhandle or northern West Virginia or south western Pennsylvania areas? |

I'd be up for this. A no-limit tourney would work nicely. I can but don't want to host.

D.C. No Limit Tournament
Ok... I'm willing to host a NLHE tournament for the D.C.-area 2+2ers, if people are interested. At the outset, I'll admit my place is small and blah blah blah, but I've got a table and chips and room in the fridge for your beer. I'll host if people are interested in it. PM me your emails and preferences for a time/date/format/buy-in.
Only requirements for doing this is that it be informal, -cheap- and that my awful plays don't get too-broadly publicized. We could run a cash-game sometime, but I'd say for a first time a tournament might be a more fun way to get to know people.... If anyone has a more suitable location and is willing to host, feel free to take the lead. But that aside, I think this might be fun... El Sapo |

Re: D.C. No Limit Tournament
For anyone in the DC area interested in a no-limit tournament I will be having one soon but registration will most likely be capped at 30 players. On a side note, anyone interested in a N.VA. hold 'em game(3-6,6-12) or a rotation game(2-4) should contact me as well. Feel free to email me at bradmclaughlin@aol.com
