Default Do you play for fun or for a living? When do you play?

Depending on whether you are an amateur or a pro, enter when in the day/night you tend to play... (ie. you should click only 1 button!)

What I think you'll find is that the both "for fun" and "for a living" players will play mostly at the same times.

Why? Cause the guys trying to make a living need someone to make their money from, so it only makes sense to log on when all the "for fun" people are on.

You really need to qualify those ranges with a timezone if you want meaningful results. Not everyone on here plays from the same country.

This summer I have been primarily a midday player with an extra night session thrown in here and there. I have found the day games to be just as beatable though a bit more table selection is required.

Do you count semi-pros as playing for fun or for a living? (I'm going to assume for a living, but I would say there are more semi-pros on these boards than pros so this may impact your results.)

I play in the evenings UK time, genrally 8pm or later (once my kids are asleep) thorugh till midnight, which I think would be afternoons for you US players.

I've been on work comp for 5 months and poker has been a nice addition to my pay cut. I don't consider myself a pro, but it's not just for fun either. I play anytime I can (as much as my wife and daughter will allow) and seem to have the best luck during the day. Mountain time.

Although at the party network, I don't think it matters.
