Yea I agree- I like the hand. Turn check also induces enough river bluffs to make the king high call +EV.

Good points- do you think checking behind on a turn blank is better than betting it? How about a bit less blank-like heart ten or queen?

I don't like the flop three bet, why not just call down?

Don't reply to many posts here because I don't feel like I am good enough yet to advise, but I've been playing a lot against Lags lately, so I thought I'd chime in.

I think you definitely should 3 bet the flop, especially if you plan on staying at the table a while. You have a ton of equity right now, and could easily have the best hand. (Any further agression, and I just call down to the river no matter what cards come against a Lag with K high.) I've been 3-betting and even capping hands with mucho equity on the flop against LAGS and it's amazing how many times you will later have a set/overpair/two pair on the flop, and they'll "protect their hand" by raising the turn, especially if there are 2 suits or straight draw on board.

the flop 3-bet is for, at the very least, value. if he has any made hand that is pair of tens or worse, I am currently "winning" in terms of pot equity. given the opponents nature, there is also a healthy chance I hold the best hand

add in factors like possibly taking control of the hand, maybe getting a free card if i need it, and metagame considerations I think the 3-bet is almost mandatory.

if he's bluffing you don't want him to stop. 3-betting could scare him off. If he has a made hand then this play is certainly correct. But given his nature, isn't he more likely bluffing?
