if I'm villain and I got capped on the turn I would seriously consider a check-raise on the river.

Then you would fall into the category of players who decide to get tricky on this river, which I think will happen a minority of the time. Most opponents will he excited about their full house being capped and hope the action continues. They'll bet so they can 3-bet.

Because villian bet and then called the flop his hand is very consistent with x8. Therefore you simply must raise the turn because I'd say you have the best hand around 80% of the time. As you played it a river raise is also a neccessity. If he turned a higher boat or flopped a bigger set, that's just how it goes sometimes.
