It doesn't seem remarkable to me in any way. Just a waste of time to play the 0.01/0.02 while you have the skill to beat 100/200 games.

[/ QUOTE ]

That pretty much sums it up.

Well, since Chris Ferguson already has a ton of money, then it doesn't really matter if he wastes time.

If I had the kind of money that those big time poker players have, then I would enjoy little challenges like that.

Took me nearly a year for the same feat.

I am not allowing myself to go broke, and re-deposit. The truth is, I'm not very good, and I find that if I just reload all of the time, I don't get any better. Ferguson's challenge impressed me in that it forced him to play well and practice bankroll management. Two things that I am sorely in need of.
To Python and Joshua D: did you guys play limit or nl?
Thanks UCF for your story.

P.S. I'm at $8.00 (try to not to be in too much awe).

I went 1$ to 2500 one time, in 9 days. but i cashed it out after that. itll take u a while to hit the big money. play sit n gos u know u can win. i played nl 1/2 cent until like 5 bucks then 5/10 cent nl, then at 15 bucks sat 5 dollar sit n gos until 150, then 3/6, 5/0 no limit. multitable play is key
good luck

My parlay was $.15 into about 20K. Took about a year and a 1/2 or so. It's still growing.

That roll also put me in the spot to hit a BB JP, but I'm not counting JP winnings in this. Just money earned playing. Primarily ring games. No n/l ring games. Though it would sound even better.
