Hi all
I wanted to get advice on where people think the most money is to be made on Party Poker. So do you think it is better to play $30+3 sitngos, the 3/6 holdem tables, or the 34k garaunteed tourny, etc...? I suspect there is some law of diminishing returns in going to the higher buy-ins/limit tables, as general quality of player increases.... Also, how much can you reasonably make at whatever rooms you feel are most profitable? |

All dependent on your skill level.

based on this post, you need to start off at their smallest tables and work your way up, no offense. If you're looking for a quick buck to be made at the bigger tables, I guarentee you you'll just go broke.

I've always liked Table 29832 (6 max).

im pretty much a scratch player. Im probably slightly profitable, but not enough to justify how much time I play. I placed third in a 34k garaunteed tourny a few weeks ago, so that brought in $3k spending cash, but I dont really count that as part of my grinding results...
I do everything from 20/30/50/100 sitngos to .5/1 - 3/6 holdem. I play .5/1 Omaha 8b as well. I find that the 20/30 sitngos are pretty easy to beat (ie make it to the money), but it all depends on the cards for any given game. I also think that the 30 sng is best value for the buck, given payout and the level of others' play. I was just wondering what other players think, and what kind of money they can make. |

play the rebuy tourneys on party and be prepared to spend during rebuy. 25-35% of the field will be gone after the first hour and more will be very short.

yeah the rebuys are good. Since people go so crazy and try to build stacks before the rebuy period is done, its pretty easy to take a lot of chips off them if you catch even a few decent hands. I havent been able to put a full tournament together there, but this is good advice...

I have played 10-30 tourneys quite a bit and finish in the money 45%. I think ring games are more profitable though. Especially since you can multitable...anyone here ever played 3 games with 2-4 people in them. Lord knows I suck at it.
