Default Are NexGens shuffleable?

I bought a cheap set of "clay" chips (600 for 100 bucks). They are a common chip. Problem is they are totally un-shuffleable. I like shuffling chips and want to know how the nexgens are for shuffling. Thanks in advance for what might seem like a silly question.

When you buy new chips, the edges are very sharp, which make them difficult to shuffle. Give them some time, and they will come around. I have had dice and suited composites with this issue, and the more you play with them, the more maneuverable they become.

The nexgens are good to shuffle, but they start the same way, a little sharp.

Thanks a heap. Yeah. That's it. The edges seem thick/sharp on my chips. Again, Thanks

No problem. You'll enjoy them after they've been in play for a few hours. On that not, be sure to put every chip you have in play at some point. Many people have sets of 500 or so, and only use 250 of them, so the other 250 don't get broken in.

I have a set of the RPT Nexgens and they are fine to shuffle. They are 12g each so a tad on the heavy side. I don't mean to get off topic, but I noticed that they sounded a bit metallic when I got them (due to the metal insert). I had custom labels made and that deadened the sound, making them sound a lot better. I would recommend labels if you can bear the thought of sticking them all on yourself.
