Ask Lee Jones
I know he's here from time to time, and I'm too lazy to just read the stars T and C
I heard today that Stars takes 10% of your balance after 7 months of inactivity. 1) Is this true? 2) If so, why? If not, why do you think other poker rooms / casinos do this? |

Re: Ask Lee Jones
That's what I was thinking about the TOS but wanted to check, and I made it public because I figured other people might be interested. It was a comment from a poker-friend on MSN, that kinda opened this whole topic in my mind.
BTW - I think that taking a player's money after X months is pretty much theft. A casino tried to do it to me (thankfully after a warning email) but really does it cost them anything to keep my account open until I remember it? If anything, we should be charging THEM interest. |

Re: Ask Lee Jones
This is not done on Stars. I give you a 100% guarantee.

Re: Ask Lee Jones
instead of sending a warning email, they should just be happy with an interest free loan.

Re: Ask Lee Jones
1) Banks don't do it after 7 MONTHS do they?
2) I don't have money in a US bank. Like I hope I said, I pretty much figured this was BS, but it got me thinking, and since I'd hit my loss limit for the day, that's a dangerous thing. |
