Default Long term inactive poker accounts

Do pokersites (in general) have any right to charge money on inactive and empty accounts that have no funds in them and then try to the collect debt?

These sites can make any rule that they want. So yes, they have a right to do this. They may not be successful collecting the debt but if their T&C's say they can do this and you agreed to the T&C's when you signed up, they can do it.

But I doubt they will spend alot of time or money chasing after $5, $10, $25 fees associated with dormant accounts that have no money in them. I think it's a way for them to close dormant accounts so that they don't have to maintain a huge database of dormant accounts. Pluse they get to keep the pennies that are always left in the account after a cashout.

On a side note, how may pennies do you think are sitting in all these poker accounts?
