Big Blind Special, lots of flop action
Party Poker NL $100
Sat down probably 10 minutes prior, no reads Preflop: 5 limpers to me, small blind completes, i check with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I decide to lead into the field for $3, hoping a queen will come along. One limper raises to $8, and the next makes it $20 to go. My action? I reluctantly folded thinking that if one of the others had trip 7s as well, I'm probably drawing to 3 outs. Also, I think that if my trip 7s are the best hand, calling 2 raises cold would be a dead giveaway and I would not get much further action. Was this too weak/tight? Also, the 3 of us had relatively similar stacks of about $140. |
