Don't call a raise with J-8s. Take the free card. Then re-raise his turn bet.

Why are people avoiding noticing this? You are going out of your way to assign these wierd hand ranges that would merit an allin, but a set could play it the same way, and is from my experience much more likely than an overpair. [/ QUOTE ]Disagree. The guy plays his set dumb, it's that simple. Why check with only one player left to act and a draw heavy board? Unless the villain feels really strongly that the button will try to steal and he can checkraise to pick up a huge pot, there is absolutely NO sensible reason for him to play his hand like this. |
