That is assuming he has the AA/KK.

If this guy is reraising with AK then, you definately call QQ. It is much more likely that the reraiser has AA/KK.

Straight forward fold. With a couple other over callers in there already I call and risk the money not closing the action. As it stands this is an auto-muck.

Default A question

So there's a 1/8 chance that you'll hit your set and each time you hit it you'll stack the guy who I assumed had KK or AA. I won't even include the other money that you could win from your other opponent. Isn't this just a simple math problem? I haven't done any math since I took calculus freshman year, but wouldn't it just be like this: 7X3=-21 dollars every time you miss. and then 1X~33=33 dollars of profit every time you hit. 33-21=+12 dollars. This assumes that the original raiser won't reraise, and that the guy who reraised has AA or KK (which most ppl put him on). So, what am I missing here?

I think the frequency that you'll stack someone with a set vs. an overpair is not as often as is being given credit here. That and the chance of being re-raised behind frequently forfeiting your $3 investment point me in fold direction without other players already in the pot.

This is why I fold here. Please ignore my other posts saying that you might call hoping to spike a 10.

People are also forgeting when you get the T and you still lose. Flop: [10 A K] or [10 Q J] assuming one has AA or KK and the other has AK.
