Re: Call this river?
I saw the results, but that still doesn't change my play. I think calling the river here is very dangerous against an unknown opponent. Its really unlikely that the villan is calling your flop & turn bets with anything that doesn't beat you on the river. I think you got lucky on the river.

Re: Call this river?
nah your raise was ok with the limpers....if you are going to raise it has to be a real one, not a crappy one. What is your plan though if the flop is QJ7 instead of QJ8. I usually just do the limp in thing, no-set no bet rule with medium pocket pairs.

Re: Call this river?
You might be right. Frankly, I highly doubt I'm behind on the flop, but I certainly may be on the turn or river. I seriously considered folding, but his play just did not look like a flush to me, so I figured I was probably ahead of his range of non-flush hands here.

I highly doubt I'm behind on the flop [/ QUOTE ] That's what I meant. It really seems like the opponent is drawing here, and betweem the turn [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and the A on the river, all sorts of draws that beat you are completed. |
