The math ???? You count how many cards will help you.

I have a hard time believing this is a serious post.
The questions you ask are so basic, Im amazed you play 5/5.
I would consider moving down in limits asap if I were you.

Ya I am asking a basic question and no one seems to have an answer. I wanna know how he got 3.4:1 odds when there are 10 cards left in the deck to help me.

What is the answer?

Anyhow I didnt have the correct odds to call the turn in hopes of pairing the board correct? I believe I didnt. But did he have the correct odds of calling my raise on the flop?

Please don't post these types of questions again. This math is not too difficult.

3.4:1 is the same as the ratio of the cards that don't help you to the cards that do. 34:10 is the same thing as 3.4:1

10 cards win : 34 cards lose
10:34
1:3.4

There you go...

oh, and 52 cards - your 2 - 4 board cards = 46 - opponents' supposed flush cards = 44

Hopefully I didn't make some rediculous mistake in that

Oh, and as others have said... you should play very low stakes until you understand these concepts a little more. You're going to have some expensive lessons... Your opponent BTW made a terrible call on the flop.

I apologize to the forum for actually providing a serious answer to this ridiculous post.

OP, do you play the 5/5 at Foxwoods regularly? I'm thinking of driving up.
