Ok, I had to review it and you got a point!

Pot: 75k
Masoud all-in
Pot: 305k
Gordon call
Pot: 515k
Moneymaker all-in
Pot: 930k
Gordon calls 225k

930k:225k = 4:1!

Figuring he is just a 5:2 underdog the 4:1 pot-odds are justifying the call easily.

I disagree as well. It starts off with the fundemental theorem of poker. What more can you ask for from a book aimed at the casual enthusiast.

It focuses on the final table of a NLHE tournament. It has two audio tracks - "beginner" and "advanced" ("advanced" is the default) and the very first thing he talks about is the Gap Concept, so you know it's not fluff.

On a lighter note, Bruce Campbell was in "Bubba Ho-Tep" with Ossie Davis, who was in "Do the Right Thing" with Samuel L. Jackson, who was in "Pulp Fiction" with Steve Buscemi, who was in "Desperado" with Antonio Banderas, who was in "Play it to the Bone" with Bruce Buffer, who was in "Final Table Poker" with PHIL GORDON!

OH MY GOD IF THIS DOESNT GET ME LAID, NOTHING WILL.

Hilarious post Jordon. You've got me curious about the Final Table DVD, I'm gonna have to check it out. My next purchase was going to be the Greenstein book but I'll postpone. If the Gordon's DVD stinks, you owe me another joke!

In one of phil's podcasts he said Barry gave him an advanced coopy of the book and he didn't seem very impressed. Can't remember exactly what he said, but it was along the lines that it wasn't very informative or innovative.

I'm feeling burned on poker DVDs after Hellmuth's stuff. You guys think this DVD is worth the 20 buck?
