Default Question about approaching bubble

I usually play sngs, but have recently started playing a few mtts a week (the 30+3 level for both fyi).

A concept I have been struggling with (maybe it is elementary) is when, if ever, does it become correct to shut down and play only monsters and only look to limp into the money. Obviously, I usually play "to win" and not just limp into the money, but I am unsure as to just how low you have to be to shut down.

I won a satelite and played last night's Party $200k guaranteed and had a situation like this come up:

201 ppl left, 180 get paid. Avg. stack is about 10k, I have 2432. Blinds are 300/600. Folded to me on the button; moved from another table so I haven't seen any hands from sb or bb, but they have 11k and 22k respetively. I push.

Is this a spot with only 4xBB, .25 avg stack, and only 20 ppl left until the money I should just muck this and try and fold into money?

Thanks
