100,000 hands should give you a good estimate. . .come on 815 hands do you really think you can sustain that BB/100?

[/ QUOTE ]

what exactly does BB/100 mean? Thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

If you don't know what BB/100 means, you shouldn't be playing the 10/20 yet. I'm not being mean, just honest. And 28 hours is ridiculously low. I think you've moved up way too fast. 10/20 is not an easy game, at all, if it seems like it is to you, you're missing something.

Definitely not 1,000. Definitly definitely not 816 hands. 10,000 is where you start to get an idea, 30,000 is where that idea gets better.

after a mere 28 hours of play I'm up $18.50 hour at 10-20(could have been more, but I suffered some horrendous beats,

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure the beats hurt, but if you're up that much, you haven't suffered nearly as much as you will on average.

are you multitabling? and are you playing Limit or NL?

So far, not counting bonuses, after a mere 28 hours of play I'm up $18.50 hour at 10-20

[/ QUOTE ]

uh, i'm up that much over my last 50 hours at 2/4. so maybe the question you should be asking yourself is what the hell are you doing wrong? seriouly, you aren't making 1BB/hr, so what makes you think you should move up?

10-20 limit, not multi-tabling, I solely play live games for now

I think saying 10-20 isn't an easy game is a blanket statement, where you have played or witnessed 10-20 might be tough and your statement in that sense is true, but I've found that 10-20 in live games to be pretty soft.

but i don't think i've reinvented the wheel and i'm making more than you are. the point is, you aren't really making all that much, and certainly not enough to think you're "beating the game", not w/ such a small sample size.

What? 1BB/hr is exceptionally well. I don't understand your statement. That translates to 2.5BB/100 online... you are making more at 2/4 multitabling, there is a big difference.

8 tabling 2/4 I make considerably more than 18.50/hr simply because I'm getting about 550 hands in each hour. I need less than 1BB/100 to achieve this, and including rakeback, I almost need to simply break even.

Yes, 1BB/hr is a lot IRL.
