I'm just recently trying to play limit (I normally play 10 and 25 NL tables), and I'm not quite sure if I played this draw correctly at all.... any comments are much appreciated..
PS: I know I probably shouldn't have limped/called the 3 bet PF.. Im mostly wondering about my post flop play... for example should I have 3 bet the turn? With the obvious aggressor playing behind us I'm inclined to check/call on the turn. I like the river play. As a side note I wouldn't have called PF.

Turn bet sucks.
If MP3 is aggressive, I might c/r the river. Preflop sucks hardcore. |

I fold this pf utg. After you limp the 3 bet call isnt horrible as its a huge multiway pot. On the flop you have high equity so raising with so many people in is perfect. You wanted this capped. The turn and river seem good as well.

I would definitely fold this preflop. But on to the rest of the hand...
I would consider c/r the flop since that would trap some players between you and the pf aggressor. I would then check/call the turn. The river is good seeing the amount of cash he has left. I think the most important thing to consider here is that MP3 is very low on cash. After that flop action he was already determined to go all in on this pot. I think it is better for you to have this happen on the river and not on the turn - if at all. At least now its your choice. |

I wouldn't play Q8s anywhere but the blinds unless the table was real loose or severely shorthanded, and even then not UTG.
On the flop you have...goddamn, uh nine hearts, three nines, three kings, three queens...eighteen freaking outs twice; is it ever possible to even have more outside of those wacky counterfeiting excercises from SSHE? Even discounting to 12 or 13 since not all of them are to the nuts you should be able to raise for value here. On the turn, if I notice the villain about to go all-in, I think it's worth a check/call to keep the SB in the hand. The river is of course self-evident. (checks) And you rightfully won. Nice hand, but please dont limp Q8s UTG again |

Kings don't do anything for him and some of the cards are redundant. He has 9 hearts, 3 non-heart 9's and 3 queens: 15 outs.
An open-ended straight-flush draw with two live overcards (e.g. K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]/Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] vs. 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]/4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on a board of J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]/10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]/2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] has 21 outs. |

Fold pf.
On the flop, I think I would prefer to c/r. Since you have both a flush and gutshot draw, you want people to come along in this pot. MP3 capped pf. If you bet and he raises, 3 players are getting faced with two cold. However, if you c/r, you can trap the field for an extra bet. The 3-bet is good, though, with those two players trapped in between. Turn, check/call this. Your equity just went down. Also, if MP3 raises (which after the pf and flop caps is pretty much a given), that can knock SB out. With those draws, you want more people contributing to the pot. River is good. Since we've already established that MP3 really likes his hand, he'll probably raise anyway which allows you to 3-bet. |

I'd fold preflop. Good 3 bet on flop you have tons of outs. check/call turn though, MPx capped it and I could see that raise on a blank coming. I would c/r the river, your stop 'n go might have scared him into calling. i know it worked out better this way this time but c/r i think is superior.
