Default Getting Even

Situation.

You have an account online with a $3500 bankroll. You play 5/10 holdem. You are down $300 in a room and not playing your best. Your playing with tight aggressive players but you are better than them. You think your current state of mind takes away your edge. How many of you get up and leave?

Always want that edge. Bounce. Take a short break if necessary. Admittingly pulling myself a way from a table if I know I'm not playing great is often hard for me, but it's easier to tell others to do it.

Be patient - after all, I took the time to parse this -- what a lot of BS

Situation;

You have $3500 bankroll play 5/10 are down $300 playing with tight aggressive players. How many of you get up and leave?

A: Like, these are your friends? What do you mean?

A: I'm staying. You can sleep with my girlfriend if you like, there will be breakfast service in the morning. I know a couple of reliable cab drivers if you need to go anywhere.

If you're not playing your best game then you're not going to make up 30 big bets at that table. If you are able to take stock of the situation and re-locate your "A" game then stay, otherwise leave. Either get a fresh start at another table or take a break from poker for a while. You need to find your "A" game after a big loss like that. Somethimes I know that I can just suck it up at the table I'm at and play better, other times a fresh start or a break is best. Know thyself. If you still can't find your "A" game then move down in level till you can find it.
