Re: JJ on draw heavy board
I'm gonna bump this one because it seems like an important concept, and because I'm still confused
Let's say you bet, and the rock raises. Why is it bad to fold here? |

Re: JJ on draw heavy board
Grunch.
I'll bet this all day long. Esp since I have the J of the suit and may get bailed out if someone already made a flush. |

Re: JJ on draw heavy board
If MP3 was a smart player...wouldn't he raise his flush draw on the flop for a free card? So if he did raise, I'd be concerned about a set (depending on what showed up, if it's an A, then I figure he's got that and I fold). Not that that gives me any more outs...I wouldn't fold if I still had an overpair, though, but I think that's probably a leak. Hmm...what a worthless post.

Re: JJ on draw heavy board
Bet. Giving a free card would suck. If you get raised, call down if you can do so cheaply. If you have strong reads against a raiser, then by all means fold. Fold to strong action on turn and river.
