The beatles are my favourite band, and they are AT LEAST slightly overrated.


Their reputation is nothing short of superhuman. I dont think even the Beatles are as good as people say the Beatles were.

It's difficult to decide. Obviously, the answer to this questions isn't my 'favorite' band, for reasons others have stated. A couple bands that come to mind are Pink Floyd and The Beatles. They both have a lot of songs, a lot of variety to their songs, and their songs don't really grow old. I'm surprised I'm the first to mention Pink Floyd. brassnuts

They are not near to being one of my favorite bands but I don't understand how the answer to this question could be anyone other than The Beatles. They have it all. If you feel like gitty pop tunes, they've got it. Previous generations could find dance songs among their discography. Beautiful ballads, they have many of those. Bizarre enchanting abstract songs, they've made an album or two full of them. They also have a great number of feet thumbing rock songs. What else do you need? It is also incredibly interesting to hear them grow from teen idols to some of the greatest song writers ever. Chairman Wood

i considered the beatles. they have a large and varied catalog, but i'm certain i would get sick of them. i'm not sick of the smiths, and i've intentionally replayed their music orders of magnitude more than the beatles. astroglide
