Default playing online from other countries

What are the rules? I know that party lists "playing in a country where it is illegal" as one of the reasons they will confiscate your account.

I sent them an email and they said that unfortunately they said that they did not know (or have a list of) countries where you cannot play from. They also pointedly did not release themselves from their right to seize my account.

The problem is that they claim that they'll seize your account if you play in a country that is illegal.

Thks for the reply. No one ever responds to my posts, so I appreiate it.

I'm playing out of Japan - where it's also supposedly illegal. Have heard nothing from Party or anyone else on the issue (didn't even know party had that rule.

The sites won't do anything, don't worry.

I spend about 5 months of the year in a foreign country. I can't access the Party/Empire/... cashier from that country, so the sites DO try to do something to constrain play from there.

I don't know about the legality, but after 1 session playing outside the US my account was frozen until I could fax them all kinds of personal documents. It was a PITA.

I was recently in Mexico and played on True and Empire with no problems. I think I might have palyed on some other sites, but I remember playing a lot on those because Empire had a reload while I was there. I did log onto Neteller as I have heard that they lockyour accoutn for security when you log in from another country.
