Default protecting big stacks in tourneys

one of my biggest problems, especially in short handed play, is finding the right balance b/t aggressive play and protecting my stack when i am one of the chip leaders in a tourney. advice, thoughts?

generrally if i am the big stack in a tourney i like to play only AA,KK,QQ,AK,JJ,1010,and AQSUITED
