Default Re: 5 card draw for high--too easy to milk the fish?

[ QUOTE ]
The big complaint I've always heard about 5 draw played with semi-competent players is that it turns into a giant rock fest. Loose players get slaughtered in the game and the action drys up.

[/ QUOTE ]

Loose players get killed, and tight players lose money slowly to the good players who end up with alot of varience relative to fighting the tight players.

This is what killed the paradise 5/10 draw. You had a core of 10-15 good players(Including some real experts such 2-3 former $25-$50 players from the Commerce), and another 10-15 tight players. Good players don't want to play each other or the tight players.

Once somone has mastered basic predraw strategy, and stops making bad bets/calls after the draw, there really arent alot of oppertunities for them to lose money.
