She thinks for 10 minutes before asking for an exact count, getting up to speak to a friend in the crowd but Shawn tells her that 'you can't do that'.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe she got confused and thought she was ordering a 6-foot sub sandwich.

Hard to understand that call. Most players in the late stages of a $2 MTT on stars are able to make that laydown.

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't even know the pre-flop action.

If Williamson had raised a good amount first and the Raymer pushed in, she may have been getting 3:1 to make the call correct.

[/ QUOTE ]

Her first raise would have had to be what, 600,000 or so for her to be getting 3-1 on the all in call? What are the blinds, 15,000 and 30,000? Seems like she either made a ridiculous raise or a terrible call.

ESPN has too much control over this tournament.

From Gutshot:

ESPN made the players play an extra hour last night and today have refused the players a dinner break, hoping they can get down to 27 players without the need.

This is the reason Bing Wang thought they were on dinner break.

I really hate to say this, but, from the stuff coming out of that tourney, she's a walking stereotype.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, a typical Columbia Law grad who works overseas for a top NY Law firm who is also a black belt.

[/ QUOTE ]

What are yon confused about? The stereotype of Columbia Law grads who are also KARATE MASTERS is that they are total donks.

I'll ignore your racism about the color of her belt.

That's one of the funniest, yet least intuitive, post-fixes I've ever seen.

Does Andy have a piece of Wang? I can understand someone trying to be a standup guy and stalling to help out someone in this position (although I certainly wouldn't do it), but crying about it?

[/ QUOTE ]

People get worked up sometimes. Particularly when he's already presumably pretty stressed about the event as is, I can see it. Good for him, though I imagine other players at the table were probably slightly pissed at the stalling. It was probably still better than being at Tiffany's table.

It's really irrelevant. Getting all in with AJo preflop with money that deep is just horrendous poker.
