its pretty tight

I hate how they changed the defensive controls. Tackle button is now switch player button, and to shake ppl while you run you have to use turbo and right joystick at same time

Got it for Xbox and it's pretty good, but do any of you like the online game? It seems to be a jump ball fest. Played five times online and 4 of 5 opponents ran shotgun streak and just threw the ball up every time and completed almost all of them. Bug in the game? That's just not that fun to just keep using the same play over and over.

I never would've suspected such a glitch from an EA sports game

Did they add anything to it? I haven't read the reviews on it yet.

Personally, I liked 2003 better than 2004 playability wise. Though I loved the extra stuff on '04.

I was just about to order this from amazon for xbox. It's supposed to have some new features, however I usually get every new NCAA anyway. Even if it only adds a little bit of freshness to the series it really gets me pepped for the upcoming season.

Here's what IGN says about it:

[ QUOTE ]
All things considered; NCAA 2006 is a magnanimous leap forward for the franchise. Some key improvements have eliminated most of its faulty aspects and technical oversights. No features have been removed, no distinctions have been compromised, and every new enhancement serves a purpose, nothing is implemented just to fill up space on the back of the box. NCAA 2006 plays faster, runs smoother, looks more authentic, and probably tastes better. It's a fitting segue for the titles move to the next generation, football enthusiasts and casual gamers alike will love this game. In a nutshell: Don't save those fifty bucks waiting for Madden. Buy this game now.

Everything is pretty much the same, just better. The graphics are much better then 2k5.The only thing I'm having a hard time adjsuting to are the new controls, especially on defense. Has anyone been able to consistantly use the "big hit" button? I wish they would have just added the hitstick function like madden
