i get a kick out of this...all these guys are insulting...sorry, the UK woman and giving her a hard time blah blah...she's fugly? compared to the devilishly handsome looks of raymer or moneymaker? (just picking the last 2 champions)why should her looks matter? certainly did not matter when moneymaker won or raymer.

i'm rooting for...UK lady. would be nice to see ivey capture the championship he deserves. would also be nice to see matusow win.

Agreed.

And actually I believ she is not that ugly by BRIT standards, it should be great for poker when someone average looking lady wins, much better then some super hot girl.

I can agree with you here, TheCroShow...

I think she'd be the best for poker, continuing with the moneymaker-->Raymer tradition

But I also agree a Matusow win would be pretty sweet. I really did feel sorry for him when he cried last year.

Shes not even that ugly, just an average looking middle-aged black lady.

Plus of course its the WSOP not a beauty pageant. If looks mattered, I would have about 40 WSOP bracelets!

Anyway, yea I hope Ivey wins because when he is focused he is the best pokah player. I hope Greg makes the final table just to shut all the haters crying about luck up, and I hope Juanda makes the final table because he is almost as good as Ivey.

Oh and yeah, I hope Tiffany makes it there too, cause it might mean more people watching and playing poker.

Yeah...

Tiffany, Juanda, Matasow, Raymer, and Ivey at the final table would make me very happy.

I say give it all to Ivey.

only problem i see with matusow winning is his recent involvement with the law. (cocaine possession or whatever)
if he wins, that will be played up, and gambling may once again be seen as a degenerative activity.

i'd like ivey to win. raymer again would be pretty sweet as well. don't get me wrong, i like matusow and would be happy if he won, but i don't know how good that would be for the game.

aside from those known guys a young internet pro would also be cool. someone, like david williams, to whom the money would mean an overwhelming much more than it would mean to say ivey or juanda. i hesitate on juanda because he may not be the best ambassador for the game. ie. his lack of english skills...not that they are horrible, but they aren't great.
