If I check from the BB pre-flop with 2h3h and flop is 3 hearts. Is there a way I can get away from this hand if someone else has a higher flush and rags fall on turn and river? Or should I be prepared to sacrafice all my chips calling an opponent down?

would it be unreasonable to just trash the hand and just forfiet the bb instead of playing it?

[/ QUOTE ]youre asking if, after getting a free play in the BB and flopping a baby flush, you should just fold when it is your action? yes, this would not be a reasonable play. your post is pretty bad kid. there is no law against folding a flush, but usually thats a pretty good hand. dont hurt yourself. ok. |

the reason i ask is because i don't see how i could get rid of the hand any other way. if i am beat, i'd lose all my money. please give me your suggestions on getting away from this hand, or feeling out if a higher flush is out there.

It really depends on stack size. You will not lose 200bb here. If you have less than 50bb, the loss is inevitable. In between it depends on your opponent.

you asked me this question on paradise as well (same name). Include stack sizes and post it in the ssnl forum 1/2 isnt mid-hi. Flush v flush sucks but depends how much u had behind.
