What are must-not-fold odds?
I'm mostly an SNG player so please forgive this very newbie question.
Assuming deep stacks all around, what, in your opinion, are odds at which you feel you must at least call any hand for 0) CO v limpers 1) Button v limpers 2) SB v limpers 3) BB against a 3xbb raise 4) BB against a 2xbb raise State any assumptions on number of players but assume at least 7. I read a lot about "Oh the odds being laid to you are enormous at 8 to 1 to call" but then I see it's against some 4-5 players and it doesn't look so hot anymore. |

you would get much better replies if you gave a few examples.

[ QUOTE ]
0) CO v limpers 1) Button v limpers 2) SB v limpers 3) BB against a 3xbb raise 4) BB against a 2xbb raise [/ QUOTE ] What I mean is basically this. For case 2 above, if there are 3 limpers, then normally (w/o antes) you're getting 9 to 1 odds to call, so I'm wondering if this would be a case where you'd call with even 72o. |

No. You call with hands that have a decent chance- not offsuit unconnected junk. Even if the whole table calls, i fold j2o on the button.

Re: What are must-not-fold odds?
This is really an unanswerable question. Fundamentally, it depends on the depth of stacks, and more importantly, the propensity of your opponents to pay off if you hit. If the entire table has 500BB, and there's a 3BB raise to you in the BB, you are certainly correct to call with ANYTHING if your opponents will pay you off. But if the stacks are less deep or (more likely) your opponent has half a brain, you need to be somewhat selective.
