Default ivey doubles

Date / Time: 2005-07-12 20:50:00
Title: Update
Log: Phil Ivey has just doubled up.

(he had 950k at the last chip count, so this should put him just short of 2 mil)

go fossilman!

Phil Ivey doubles through Brian Stellwagen
On a flop of [Kh][5d][Kd] Phil Ivey bet out and Brian Stellwagen pushed in. Ivey called his all in bet and the players turned up:

Brian Stellwagen [8c][8h]
Phil Ivey[Ad][Kc]

Ivey made a full house on the turn when it came [Ad]. The river [Th] was no help for Stellwagen. Phil Ivey doubled up.

Title: Phil Ivey Busts One
Log: With the flop showing K-K-5, Phil Ivey bets $50,000. Brian Stelwagen makes it $250,000 to go. Ivey makes it another $350,000 more to go. Stelwagen raises all-in, and Ivey instantaneously calls, and shows A-K. Stelwagen shows 8-8. Ivey has him covered and nearly doubles up to almost $2,000,000.
