Any poker room employees out there?

Hi guys,
I'm curious to know if there are any current poker dealers and/or poker room shift managers out there? I'm currently an officer in US Navy but looking to resign shortly and would like to get picked up by a casino, preferably the Tunica, MS area. Just trying to find out any info I can to get my foot in the door. Please feel free to send private message.

I don't know if this helps, but if you're looking for a place to stay in Tunica, the last time I was out there I met a bunch of dealers from the Horseshoe who stayed right next door at the Goldstrike as the Goldstrike had a $20/night poker room rate - so they would work, play a few hours, pick up a stack of additional money, get all of their meals comped, and have a nice room all for $20/night (who knows, staying by the month might be even cheaper).

Not sure it's the lifestyle you're looking for but that worked for a number of dealers from the Horseshoe from what I learned....

Thanks for the info. I'm not necessarily trying to go pro or anything. Just would like to step into an assistant shift manager job given my managerial experience. Figured someone out there who took time to read the magazine articles on this site might be in the business.
