chances are still against him to make the final table, to say it would be a huge shock for him not to make it is absurd

[/ QUOTE ]

Got any ICM numbers to back that up?

Phil Ivey sitting next to Mattusow with CK Hua also at the table, should be very interesting to watch

[/ QUOTE ]
Not to mention Juanda sitting to his immediate left...

Matusow's at the next table over (143).

Look for my post up a bit.

My rough ICM calc give Raymer a 3% chance to with and a 25% chance to make the final table.

Sweet. I have a prop bet on Raymer to make the final table at 100-1 ($10)
I also have Watkinson (150-1) and Darden (125-1).

Go Greg!!!

Raymer is in a great position: he has 1.0M of the 2.6M of the chips at his table. I'm sure Greg is very aware of the appropriate strategy in this spot, but he has a sufficient chip lead at his table to force at least three of his opponents (Vannata, 84K; Pacheco, 126K; and Kaikko, 122K) to risk every chip they have every time the put one in the pot without undue risk to himself.

I don't know any of the players at Greg's table. If they're rocks hoping to move up the ladder, I'd anticipate that Greg will rob them all blind.

According to my math based on Cardplayer stats, the average stack at the final table, (9 handed), will be 6.243 million. Fossilman at just over 1 million still has alot of players to work through to get a spot there. Doubling up 3 times will do it, but only one other player has over a million at this point.
