Greg Raymer knocks out a player to increase his stack
Greg Raymer checked a flop of [Q][5][6] and another player pushed in for 80k. Raymer called the player's all in bet and turned up [5][6] for two pair. Raymer's opponent showed [A][Q]. The rest of the board was blank giving Raymer the win and increasing his stack to 570k.

[/ QUOTE ]

ummm, wouldnt that make raymers stack decrease?

rj

[/ QUOTE ]WTF are you talking about

[/ QUOTE ]

Title: Lederer Doubles Up
Log: With the board showing Ad-9h-8s-7d, Howard Lederer moves all-in for his last $26,000, and is called by a player who shows Q-Q. Lederer shows Kd-7d for a flush draw, a straight draw, and one overcard. The river is the Kh, and is good enough to double up Lederer to nearly $110,000.

Also,

371st - Amir Esfandiary

[/ QUOTE ]

Have we determined whether that is Antonio?

[/ QUOTE ]must be another typo board must've been Ad-9h-8s-6d not Ad-9h-8s-7d if he had str8 and flush draw

even funner than following the action is trying to figure out what actually happened. I'm guessing Lederer actually had Kd-6d?

Doesn't Antonio spell it Esfandiari with an i instead of a y?

I had to read it a couple times too. Raymer had 56 for two pair, opponent had AQ for TPTK.

it was mostly confusing because it says "Raymers opponent shows..." i ignored opponent, read raymer and went straight to the cards.
