Default Jumping ahead in line

At plasces like Foxwoods where the wait is insane, how many of you guys wait for the "final call" from the board on a game you want, then when it seems like nobody is going to claim it, step in and say, "I'm XYZ for the 10/20"?

Related: How many of you guys go to the board when you arrive, and say, "I'm leaving the 10/20, put me on dinner reseating please. I'm going to grab a bite to eat. I'll be back shortly."

I don't like to cut the line. Next time I go down to AC, I'll put my name on three to five lists depending on what is being spread. Sure, I'll feel link a donk sitting at 1/2 NL with three racks of $1 chips, but whatever.

Never done it but I can't say I have never been tempted. I usually play at the Taj weekdays and the wait to get in a game is seldom very long.

last time I was at the Borg, you had to "clock out" of your game to get your name on the dinner list, and you could
only get on the list for the same game.

I never do this, and in my mind this is completely unacceptable. If a large group of folks started doing this, there would be anarchy in the cardrooms.
