Default Strangest play I have ever saw

I have never saw a table mood change quicker then last night. Easy going table where most of the people somewhat know each other and are phoning it in waiting for more people to show up and fill the room so that we can get into better games. There is the one person exception to the easy going attitude.

This player buys in short for the $30 minimum everytime and then tries to get all in as quick as possible. He is the type of person who gets there runner runner straight or flush and fluants it telling the person with the A's cracked "what do you think I'm raising with" but is also the loudest person to scream like a little girl about his hand getting cracked in a similar situation. I saw him litterly scream at an older lady one night when she mis-read the board and showed the bottom pair but actually had a straight to beat him. Not the kind of person I generally enjoy playing with but I put up with it because he dumps a couple of hundred every session. (side note: I have seen him kicked out of the room and banned for a week or two multiple times, great guy.)

Enough background info, here is the strange hand. Our hero the JackA$$ is in the blind (only one $2 blind.) EP raises and is 3 bet by the button. JA cold calls 2 bets and EP calls. 3 players in the hand.

Flop: 8 K 3 suits don't matter. Blind checks, EP bets, Button raises, blind 3 bets and they cap.

Turn: 7 ....blind and EP cap it. button drops out.

River: Q ....blind bets out and EP raises...Here is where it gets hetic....EP is kind of a smug fellow in his own right and shows the blind his AK, like he is trying to save this guy a couple of bucks or something. The JackA$$ says "thats all you have" and makes a big deal out of placing his 8/3 offsuit over each of the cards matching the board. The dealer (who I know has had a run in or two with this fellow in past games and who never gets tokes from this player,) looks at the JA and said something in reference to "are you done?" The JA said yes and the dealer pushed the pot to the EP player. The JA explodes at the dealer saying its his pot. The dealer explains that the JA never called the final bet so therefore he mucked. The JA first starts saying because he had the better hand he didn't have to call (where was this ever a rule?) and then calls for the floor and tells the floor manager a totaly different story that he had called the bet and that the dealer was wrong and owed him the pot.

JA picks up his stuff and huffs out calling everyone within earshot cuss words and letting it be known in no uncertain terms that he would never be back. Flash ahead about 15 minutes and in walks the JA with the casino manager pointing out the floor person and dealer saying he wants them all to watch the tape and then when he is proved right he wants the two employees fired for "screwing him over."

They call security and review the tape, he never called the bet and when he started sceaming again they threw him out and told him it was permanet. A couple of people at the table applauded when they escorted him out. I have never saw anything like this before, strange night.

Sometimes I fly off the handle like that, what can I say. I'll probably be back next week sometime and I'm going to run all over you for posting this here.

Next week don't forget the Medication!

Do you really know the dealer's dog and his wife are that friendly? Huh? guess you guys all have some sort of secert freindship outside of the poker room, that I'm not privy to, as well as you seemed to know the floor person's family. But still even if I did know them all that well I couldn't imagine saying those things in front of the priest and rabbi we were playing with.

Have to say I don't like the way EP played this hand, at all. If "Jackass" has a clue and EP plays half reasonably Jackass will put him on AK, KK, AA, somewhere around the turn raise. The minimum he can put him on is AK. Jackass is only going to be putting all that action in on the turn (and the river) if he thinks he's good (and he is against all but KK). At some point on the turn he should have figured out that as he has the weakest hand Jackass can put him on, and as Jackass is still raising, he's probably beat.

At that point he's gotta stop and call him down, say when he's 3 bet on the turn. I think he totally over played the hand with Top pair K Top Kicker, against a minimum raggedy-ass two pair.

And yes I know the play wasn't the point of the post. I just thought I had to comment on how badly the "smug EP" played against the "Jackass".

Givin an opportunity like this where the dealer can do everything by the book. Perfectly. Now if this was "Mr. Nice Guy, (nice guy wouldnt lay cards out like that) Our hero dealer may have asked if was calling instead of "r u done". I love this story. I always love mt dealer too. Never know when he'll do something perfecr to my advantage.

Very interesting story. The single $2 blind sounds like a CO 2/5 game, but if if TD was JA, his locaction is listed as Washington and you don't list a location. Where was this game? Just curious.

I didn't mean to mislead anyone--I thought people would realize I was joking. I'm referred to as the resident jackass in the home game I frequent but I wasn't the jackass in this story.

Sorry I remembered a story where you called someone elses bet for them in Vegas and you admited you were a Jackass then (but overall you seemed more polite than this guy). Maybe if you would have put a smily face in your post I would have got it.
