At least we will get to hear his thoughts about it in his podcast later on.

OT, but is D'Agostino's name on PS jdags21? If so, he is making a killing on the $75/$150 Limit Omaha H/L table.

Default Gordon gone; MM and Vahedi clashing

Title: Phil Gordon Checks Out
Log: In first position, Phil Gordon makes it $1,050. The table folds around and one player re-raises to $15,000. Phil Gordon pauses for a moment and asks, "Why would you raise that much?". Gordon then called which forced him all in. Gordon showed pocket Jacks and his opponent turned over pocket Kings. The flop comes K-Q-2. The turn is a 5 and the river is an 8. Gordon's Jacks didn't improve and he was eliminated from the 2005 WSOP Championship event.

Title: Some Friendly Banter
Log: Sitting next to each other, Chris Moneymaker and Amir Vahedi have been exchanging some words. It's all in good fun, though Moneymake is starting to take some issue with that fact that Vahedi is constantly raising on his big blind! Vahedi answers only with this "Yours is the easiest to steal.

Sklansky News! I didn't even know he was playing today.

Following a flop of Ah-10h-9h, David Sklansky and two other players were in the hand. One opponent made it $1,000 to go and Sklansky and the other player called. The turn was the Ad. The same player bet out $1,000 and both Sklansky and the other player called again. The river was the King of spades and the same player bet out $2,000. Again, both Sklansky and the other opponent called and turned their cards over. Opponent #1, who was betting out, was holding K-10, showing two pair. Opponent #2 turned over 3h-2h and showed a flush. SKlansky turned over the Qh-8h, representing the higher flush, and taking the pot.

He picked up T8,000 on that pot post-flop. It's too bad he's playing on one of those no-raising-allowed tables.

Moneymaker just doubled with 2 pair against TPTK.

Nice. I know I'm in the minority, but I want him to do well.

[/ QUOTE ]

I couldn't stand him for the first year after he won, but he's starting to grow on me. Humility will do that to a person, and I think he's had a pretty good dose in the last 24 months.

Now he's starting to remind me of John Daly....the People's Champion. I hope he's sleeping in a Winnebago.
