I think I'll pick up the $700 in the pot since nobody is going to call my bet without a premium hand. Even if they do call, my 87s plays as good as possible against a premium hand."

Well your explanation kind of makes it sound ok dynasty, except i think its just very risky in 1st position.

Their most recent update is this Always extraordinarily nice to Card Player, Cyndy Violette stopped by to tell us about her bust out, just in case we missed it. With the flop showing 9c-4h-3c, Cyndy Violette goes all-in for her last few thousand in chips. She shows Kc-Jc for a flush draw and two overcards. Her caller, Randy McKay, unfortunately showed Ac-3c and a much better flush draw. As Cyndy called for a King, the turn was a 6s, but the river brough the unfortunate club flush, and Cyndy is eliminated. The 3c is on the flop and in Cyndy's opponent's hand. Obviously we can figure the flop was most likely 9c,4c,3x. But, these mistakes are regularly made.

I'd speculate the Gordon was in a state of mind where he wanted to either double-up soon or get busted rather than getting ground down slowly.
