ESPN WSOP broadcast schedule
I posted this in the Day 1B thread but felt that it needed it's own topic. Everyone has been asking for this and the only schedule readily available is out of date on the web by over 2 months. Here is the full current schedule, right out of the press room:

Re: ESPN WSOP broadcast schedule
Is this the same that has been on the WSOP site for some time?
http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/broadcast.asp Does this include the changes which have been made on the floor at the Rio in order to film Chan and Tilly's wins? |

Re: ESPN WSOP broadcast schedule
The one on the WSOP.com website is still the old one. Chan and Tilly's wins will surely be covered in the same way Annie Duke's Omaha 8 win was during the Ladies Limit Holdem event last year. Chan's and Tilly's wins took place around the same time as the televised $2500 NL Holdem event filled with no-names.

Re: ESPN WSOP broadcast schedule
Just to clarify, Annie did not play or win the ladies event last year. She won an open event.

[/ QUOTE ] From Cardplayer's log of the 2500 PL Holdem event: [ QUOTE ] 2005-06-27 01:01:00 TV Final Table Although not originally scheduled to be filmed, there is quite a bit of entertainment value in today's event. Johnny Chan is going for the all-time record for most WSOP Bracelets, while Phil Laak's girlfriend, Jennifer Tilly, has reached the final table in the women's event, happening concurrently. As a result, Chan and Laak are on an indefinite break until the No Limit Event on the ESPN main stage is complete. [/ QUOTE ] From Cardplayer's log of the Women's NL event: [ QUOTE ] 2005-06-27 15:25:00 Final Four Players Prepare for Action The final four women are seated at the final table and filling out their bios for ESPN. This won't receive full ESPN coverage, and there's only a partial crew here to record the action. Still, it should make for interesting television, especially with two very big names (actress Jennifer Tilly and Cecelia de Mortensen) among the final four. Play will probably get underway within about 10-15 minutes. [/ QUOTE ] Kevin... |
