You can buy this table at Menards (similar to Home Depot) for $99...$0 shipping. You get what you pay for, it's not that great of a table. I built mine with a friend in an afternoon. There are several great sites that offer a wealth of info on building your own table.

First, I doubt it really costs $100.00 to ship it, so that's where they're making money. Second, it folds in half, so you'll be losing stability in the table.

The June-July issue of Bluff magazine has an article on building your own table. Doesn't look too bad, may give it a try.
As for re-felting it, it would be pretty easy, just a pain.

Does any one have any comments on just the tops you can get, the ones you'd place on top of a regular table ?
