So if he smooth calls, what's your plan on the turn, assuming it's a blank? Check fold?

If he calls, you should assume you have the best hand. I'd probably lead out again for 800-1000.

So many players will raise you here with AK if you lead the flop, especially stronger players. I like check/call flop, lead turn. It takes a lot more balls to raise that bet with AK, and most players will lay down. If he calls the bet on the turn block the river or check and figure it out.

appreciate the help guys...I kinda noticed what my problem playing in person was...again. Mainly not thinking and call in abscence of thought, though I almost got the river right. I really hate playing one hand so awfully awfully bad like that, really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Hopefullly everyone still in it today is still in by the time I head over to the rio.
