Top pair bad kicker from blind
Villain seems loose passive, but I haven't played that many hands with him (~25).
Do you check the flop, turn, or river? Do you fold? Re: Top pair bad kicker from blind
Looks fine to me, I would probably have played it the same. No way you can fold here.
On the river BB needs to have a T or better kicker (unless he has a boat) which is possible, but given that he's loose his hand distribution should be quite wide. Mind you that 25 hands is not much of a read. |

Re: Top pair bad kicker from blind
I think you played it fine post-flop. Inspired by the thread QTip brought up from the archives, I'll guess you have a 1 in 5 shot of taking it at showdown.
I would fold pre-flop. I'd fold A5o too. |

[ QUOTE ]
I would fold pre-flop. I'd fold A5o too. [/ QUOTE ] What would be the weakest hand you would want to play from the small blind here? K9o? A8o? I don't like getting involved in these types of situations, but against one limper and the big blind I usually play any A or K for 1/2 small bet. Is this too loose from the small blind at party 2/4? |
