Default Relationship of push frequency to FE

The bubble has just begun with even stack sizes of 2000 and blinds at 100/200, assuming that within the next 10 hands the chips simply rotate and stacks stay even, how do you answer the following:

1. Pushing requirements against a single tight agro player?
2. Pushing requirements against a single loose passive player?
3. Do you push everytime you meet your requirements or you do you space it out in fear of being spite called ?

Default Re: Relationship of push frequency to FE

if i have 2k 4-handed i am not in steal mode, and i may not even open push to steal...i often make it 450 or 500 here and take down the blinds with K7 type hands.

Now if it were 150-300 and the same set of info you asked...

TAG: any two cards, and no don't do it every time, though you need to be averaging more than once per orbit. that could mean 3 in a row then none for two orbits...or every button+random shots or whatever. Be more inclined to min-raise or 2.5BB raise this type of player, they'll fold (or resteal hehe)

LP-Even tho they're calling stations, even calling stations pause before calling all their chips, so i'd say any ace, any PP, suited connectors, two paint cards, Q9+, K7+ etc etc...basically all hands over the 50% line + suited connectors. And again, no not every chance. Just keep slealing at more than one per orbit on average. Be less inclined to min-raise this guy and just open push.

And there is a player type you forgot: LAG SNG pro. TAG early yes, but now they are LAG for sure. Against them you have to use your better judgement because they'll start dropping spite calls with Q8 on your arse!

so it sounds like you really sit tight and wait for the blinds to come up to a level worth stealing. I usually start stealing at level 4 with decent hands regardless because I want to have a larger stack on the bubble. This could be the reason i have so many 5th and 6th place finishes, i wonder if this is a leak?

is it accurate to say that in these blinds you always push a coinflip, regardless of the player, if you havent already done so in the past 3 hands ?

But the players who have been loose agro all along are even more so now. The only guys I use caution with are the ones who have been tight before level 4 and suddenly start pushing. It's as if the bubble is a completely new game starting up.
