If your running a boiler room, you still only need one person for "maintenance".

In my 16 years of online play I have come across several of these bots. At first I found their slow calculated play irritating, but I slowly started bating them, I said my calculator occassionally got sums wrong, and built from there....culminating in telling them that there is no robot heaven... Every single bot to a man went on tilt. I won just over $12k.

Paulp had a great idea on how to deal with this

Basically, it would work like this, every time you fold your 15th or 20th hand or maybe even every half hour, you get a "task" given by the server and must solve it or enter a word displayed on the screen. If done correctly it stops bots, I've seen this employed in online rpgs and free mail services.

a bot can do a lot but it can't read words off a screen when the words have been distorted and have a grid over them.

try to register an account on Yahoo.com, you will get a random set of numbers you must re-enter into a box. This completely abolishes botting. There's no way for a program to read the text

I would bet everything I have that one day, when you log into partypoker, you will start getting random prompts. No question

I know for a fact you are wrong.
